This collection contains David Lin's writings, a few letters, and some personal documents. The writings include unpublished articles regarding traditional Seventh-day Adventist interpretations on biblical passages and pre-baptismal Bible study materials. There are also writings by Lin about Seventh-day Adventism in China. The writings are a mix of Chinese and English.

Yaoxi David Lin (born 1917), a son of a Chinese diplomat of the former Qing dynasty, was a leading administrator of the Seventh-day Adventist church in the People's Republic of China for over 50 years.
